update -

He has taken a turn for the worse.  After he was finally stable, they removed the tubes from his lungs.  They both immediately filled up with fluid and he almost drowned.  They replaced the tubes, drained him and he is better.  However, he is not able to eat so they had to put a feeding tube in him and his intestines, both large and small, are heavily damaged.  Please keep your prayers coming.

Father touch this young man with your gracious hand of healing, give the doctors wisdom and bless his family with your peace.

Amen

I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave"
