Welcome to the DZ. Last I heard it was gone. Last time I saw that place was June of 86.

Chip, welcome to the site. I was in B Company from 1978-1980. If you need anything from the Association let me know.

| Barry, please send me information on the 1/509th Association. I would like to join if there is a membership. I have an old Airborne Association of the 509th ABCT card dated 1-31-80 to 12-80 member #789 signed by Terry K Thrash, Commo Officer. Do any of you guys out there still have one of these? I will scan it and post within he next couple of weeks(busy at work) to see if it jogs anyones memory. Just a note, I lost my Belgium jump certificate about 15 years ago (divorce) and contacted the Jump school in Schaffen. They bent over backwards to research my information and issue me a new certificate. I offered to pay and they would not accept payment. Just in case anyone has lost or their certificate was destroyed, they still have your records. Airborne-All the Way

Chip, shoot me your e-mail address and I will send you the documents. When did you get your Belgium wings? I went in July of 1979, the same one Cpt. Rowley was on. Send me the information on getting a new certificate because mine came up missing long ago and I would love to get a replacement.
