Perhaps the final product will have a better appearence... either way, the airman who is wearing one will receive the recognition he deserves.

Ert, it's not a valor medal, its an award recognizing having your ass in someones gunsights. Besides, I was shot at more than once.

Al, just before you retire you should submit your name to Guinness as the service member with the all time number of awards and decorations.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

That's about the butt-ugliest ribbon I think I've ever seen, but at least you'll know to watch your head, it looks like a warning device

Once again the Air Shaf, err Staff mucks it up.  The design supposedly comes from a WW I (?) design, but the original had the eagle looking towards the arrows, this one has the eagle looking at the olive branches. Clowns.

Glad the joes will get some recognition, but it still is a butt-ugly ribbon.

Al, did you ever see the Seinfeld episode where they did the bit about George's wallet and how much he had in it?  He finally put one small piece of paper too much and it exploded.  Be careful, bro, so that when they pin that on you in your Class A uniform you don't collapse and get crushed under all that weight.
