The 30th annual All Airborne Awards Festival will be held in Atlanta from April 11-14 of this year.  This includes the trip to Ft. Benning and ceremony at the Airborne Walk, a chance to watch the students graduate and pin their wings on them and, for the last four years, a trip to Red Cloud range for some hands on time with some of the current weapons in the inventory.  So let's hear who will be hooking up for this one?

Barry,

I'll be there!   This year I will bring with me another of my grandsons.  For those who have not attended in the past, Don Lassen, aka Mr. Airborne, puts on a great get together for the Airborne Troopers.  The trip to Fort Benning is the highlight of the event.

Barry didn't mention that we get to march alongside our Regimental flags at the Airborne Walk Ceremony.  How about some of you high speed troopers joining Barry and I for this part of the ceremony.

Ne desit virtus!

I'll be good and settled in to FOB Salerno by then, but I look forward to pictures.

Just got off the phone with Don Lassen discussing the arrangements for my presidential suite.

Looks like the wife and I can ride in the tail of an Air Trans plane for 79/each down and then the same again back... room rate is 91/night then the fee's for the event... looks like I need to pull together a grand to make this work...

So, if anyone needs a website, I'll be doing extra web work to pay for the trip but I think baring any unforseen problems, I think HH6 and I will be in Atlanta for the first time in April.

Any of you who happen to have experience... please contact me to let me know where the corners can be trimmed and what to watch for.

Hooah!?
