Please note that technically posting an entire article or image that is copywritten on this site is in many cases copyright infringment and to some extent the owner of the content could level a complaint or even legal action about its use.

From this point forward all personnel are directed to utilize a better and overall safer way to inform and utilize content from other websites.

  • If there is an article of interest, post the article title and either link the title or include a link to the original material. If a particular part of the article is of interest and is key to your discussion talking point, quote it. This allows interested parties to visit the link, read the article and then return to discuss the information. This also ensures that the owner of the content gets the website visitors they intended as well as a courtesy of sharing the information.

Please also be aware that these forums are for discussion, if an article was/is of interest for discussion, please refrain from simply posting the article without comment. Even a small comment gives the users here an impression of your agreement or disagreement with the materials and starts the discussion. Articles have been placed here in the past as simply news material and go unanswered which leads to wasted space and time.
  • If you post images, please ensure there isnt any stated copyright for one and if you do post an image, do not directly link to it (it shows here on this site but is linked directly and pulling from the other site). Either copy it and it is uploaded here to this site or better still, place a link to the site or image in the topic so that others can visit and view.

I know these seem like minor points and annoyances but just like myself, people go to great pains to make information available and in many cases, they pay for doing so with banner ads and tracking visits to see how they are doing in order to continue, these changes will ensure that we are courteous to the providers.

So watermarked images stamped with another website's logo like the one I posted of those sea forts are verboten eh? In the future I will post a summary and a link to the website then.

"The degenerative and loony should never be denigrated but, rather, thanked. In their absence, the rest of you would be obliged to fill congressional seats... positions naturally unsavory to the sane and honorable."
