Yepper, Big Al is deploying again on a 90 day shortfall mission!!!

Like I've said before..............Tip of the Spear baby!!!

This time the spear tip lands me in............................................ Ramstein Air Base Germany!!!!!

I volunteered for a shortfall tasking as one of the C-17 Stage managers starting Dec 1 and ending 1 March. Oh don't fret for Big Al over the holidays. I'm flying over HH6, the little Mortarman and Pink 5 for a Christmas European vacation!!! (Wasn't that a movie???) HH6 and slices will be in place 14 Dec until 14 January, so I get a month with momma and the young'uns!!! Tough duty!!!

So, Hefiweizen, Brats, Gluwine, unt potato cakes and appfelsauce all around!!!!

Frickin' Air Force!!!!

Iffin' you are a P.Netter in the Sembach, Ramstein, Baumholder, K-town AO. Shoot me a pm and I'll regal you with some lies and maybe we can trade some "aquired" AF stuff for other stuff!!!

I'll be posting picyures so keep looking here. I depart this Thursday to arrive on Friday morning!!!

I hate you.

Tough times in the Air Force these days folks. I knew that when I signed up. I do as I am told and soldier on. (Air Force on???)

Oh there are hazards to this position. I will face angry active duty aircrew, bitching at me when I am forced to put them in on base rooms as opposed to an off base hotel, facing the wrath of reserve crews for only getting 36 hours crew rest, my rental car may only be a Volkswagon as opposed to being a BMW or a Mercedes, german beer, brats, snitzchel, and the other hazards that face me. Then there are the Christmas markets and castle tours....don't get me started on those!!!

But I will soldier on damnit!!!

Big Al!

You are a brave man to face such problems.    You know, you are only digging yourself deeper here.  These men will require a photo of you wearing liederhosen now!

Eww... Al and Mick the geriatric singer?

I'm certain your HH6 will be keeping close tabs on your behavior buddy...
