Hi guys and gals.  I just found out that one of my "baby" cousins just completed medic school in Texas and is headed to Fort Bragg, NC the middle of next month with a soon after deployment to the big sandbox.  He did not go to Airborne school (no worries, Jim is after him) so I am not sure what unit he is with.  Can I get some help from anyone who can get the info?  His wife, Justine just had a baby girl November 15th.  I do not have access to AKO, so I cannot look him up.  Can anyone help me?  I have a shout out to his dad and his siblings for an email account, but have not heard back.  His name is (opsec per Jen), aka Fred.  PM me for more info if you think you can help

Thanks guys and gals for any info you can help me out with

His younger brother wants to enter the Army and fly helicopters so he is getting in touch with Jim.  Of course Jim is trying to get him excited on a real MOS, aka Ranger!

Congrats, that's good stuff!!

I should point out, though, Ranger is a special skill, not an MOS--you can even be a chaplain and be a Ranger--Not Me though, that stuff is for people much younger than me

opps! Civie error.  I guess MOS would be 11b and Ranger would be the highly trained, lean, mean fighting machine.  My cousin(s), I have about 30 of them, just found out that Jim is 40 years old.  One comment was, "There is no way you can be as old as my dad and look like that!"

Hey Mazzi,

I just got back from vacation in Nashville, Tn. and found out my kid cousin, Chris is going to be doing his "third" tour in Iraq with the 3rd Stryker BCT, 5/20th out of Ft. Lewis, WA.  He's a Stryker driver and can't get enough of it, so he says.  He's also getting married for the first time before he transfers out.  No young ones yet!

Hope the best for your baby cousin and mine, and prayers go out for their safe tour and return from the box!
