| My grandfather, WWII Army Vet, is having eye surgery tomorrow. He had a detached retina and had surgery 6 years ago. He has suffered a detachment again but this time the surgery is more complicated. They are pretty much going to take his eye apart and put it back together. He has pretty much lost sight in the one eye. They are hoping he can regain some sight in that eye in the event something happens to his other eye. He is a Deacon in the Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, IN. My mom is the oldest out of 10 kids and is heading there on Wednesday to help take care of him. If you get a chance, please say a prayer for him while he is in surgery and while he is recovering. Deacon Fred J. Larson is his name and even though he has plenty of faith on his side, I am sure he would not mind a few more shout outs on his behalf.

| Father we ask for your amazing hand of blessing on Deacon Larson as he entrusts his sight, not to a surgeons hands, but to you. Guide the surgeon, give him wisdom and insight and a steady hand. Grant his family your peace. In Jesus Name, Amen

I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." Prayers on the way.

Mazzi, my prayers are with your grandfather and your family.
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
