nomad, yes...I remember the video of that cosmonaut. He was a lot weaker than those that had spent less time in space. Apparently blood loss is not a constant in zero-g but the loss of muscle and bone strength are. If humans ever travel to Mars and make it back they will have a similar readjustment period when they land back on Earth. That will also be a year long round trip [+/-].

| SMSB, Those were some really good websites. I will send them to the people I spoke to about the blood volume issue (some of which have been here at JSC since the 1990's).
