Just joined the site. 

Joined the army 1966, after basic, MP AIT, and Jump School was assigned to the 82nd then after three 10-49s I allowed to attend the SE Asia war games, First as an MP with the 101st (Jun 66) then transferred to HHC Recon Plt, 2/502 Inf. Awarded 11F mos. Jun 68 assigned to 67th MP company Ft Devens until I ETSed in July '69.  Three years in Inactive Reserve and Joined the Alaska AR NG,  38th SF company,. which was disbanded in 1976, we reverted to the Recon det (ABN) 207th IN Grp.  Went to OCS as an E7 in 1978, had two Company commands, various staff positions.  Spent the last few years running the AK NG Marksmanship unit.  Retired in 1992, waiting (until Jul 07) to start drawing my Reserve Retirement.
