| I met LTC Wehr at the Static Line Airborne Awards Festival this last week, he was the Guest Speaker on the transformation of the 82d Airborne Division and he was the last Commander of the 307th Engineer Bn. before it's deactivation this year. He is a great Paratrooper and superb Officer who is deeply involved in the transformation program in Division. He wanted to reach out to all 307th and 618th Engineer Alumni to create a Chapter that would like the P.I.R. Chapters, insure that the lineage and history of the 307th Engineer Bn., 82d Airborne Division lives on! If you are a member past or present of the 307th, 618th, or new support units that are Engineer then we need you to help support this new Chapter. I have agreed to assist LTC Wehr as a contact/liasion for interested personnel. Shoot me an e-mail if you have any questions or are willing to accept the mission of getting this great Chapter active. Airborne Engineers have always been counted on to get the job done and complete any assigned mission. The motto of the 307th Engineers says it all, "I Maintain The Right".

Engineers rule!
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. http://www.partamian.net/blog/

I have a brand new 2007 baby girl, so I will be unable to make it. However anything I can do to help get things moving please PM. It was the De-activation of the 307th that actually brought me here. Any information on joining would also be appreciated. Once you go nasty you never go back
