If I'm not mistaken, the 345th was at one point Airborne. They wore USACAPOC beret flashes and wing ovals. I'm not sure if they still are.
There was a guy from the 345th in my AIT class. He ended up in my company (308th, Belton, MO) about 6 months before I got out of the reserves (2000). He made a big deal out of the fact "they pro-rate the jump pay but they don't pro-rate the danger."
37F reclass to 11B: Born again hard.

Classic line... "they pro-rate the jump pay but they don't pro-rate the danger."
Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

345 POC was one of 2 reserve Airborne PSYOP companies, the 301st in San Diego being the other. A year ago I was in a multi compo BN and trying to keep the reservists current was a nightmare--six days a quarter to jump and what if you get a scratch???

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave" General "Stonewall" Jackson

| My name is Tim Barnett. I served with the 16th PSYOP from 96-02. I then went to the 389th ENG until June 05. I parted with the reserves at that time. Now I am considering joining the reserves again, but I would like to go back into PSYOP's. I am currently living in the Atlanta, GA area. Can you please provide any contact information that might be able to help me. Thank You, Tim Barnett Edit: Don't post personal information on an open internet forum. That is just plain silly WhiteFalcon
