Well I read the pages I missed while away for a bit and all I have to say is this... I'm sorry. I'm going through some issues back home right now with my wife being a bitch and not listening to a god damn thing I need her to do. I get in moods sometimes and I take it out on others unecessarily. Problem is I don't realize I'm doing it until its too late. I really do come here in peace and apologize. I will try and be a little more friendly and not over analyze everything everyone says. Sorry for the drama. Accepted - Drive On

...we only get so much water for our showers a month to the tune of we can only take a 3 minute shower... Welcome to my life. Just wait until the 12K goes down due to a faulty brine pump, the 3K is used soley for the plant and cooking (thank God cold-cuts don't take too much water), and your weekly water useage is reduced to approx 1 sinkfull weekly...do that for almost a full three month patrol...oh, did I mention that the laundry was secured, and we couldn't use the two washers at all? We got off that boat just a tad "ripe." Lack of showers isn't anything to bitch about....it's just a part of one's existence. R/ Pingjocky

That's the problem with the missle boats, no Macgyvers!! My little brother the EMC(SS) used regale me with tales of how they used to fix crap until they got back home!! That's right. On Tridents we only fix stuff that's mission critical...unfortunatly, only water for the plant is mission critical, while the people can just suck it up. If a piece of gear goes down, we usually wait until we pull into port, and call TRF (Trident Refit Facility) to come fix it. Now, if it's mission critical, like Sonar or Fire Control or something like that, we'll bang on it till it works. R/ Pingjocky

Welcome to Pnet. Sorry about calling you a whining nancyassed idiot. We get that way when someone comes into Webdaddy's house and pisses on the carpet.....repeatedly. And I'll take a Corona with lime.

R/ Pingjocky I knew I joined the Army for a reason and every time I board a ship I am quickly remined what that reason is

I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me."
