think you'll find that despite my stupid rules, they are based on quite a few years of beating away the morons  (ok, except OUR morons) and have been tested and are a solid part of the higher quality of post found here.

Yes? You called? Rolling Rock at this end of the bar. And get my buds BF, BlackFlagg and JR one too.

To the above poster who said they get angry when they can't jump because the AF planes don't fly what aircraft are you jumping from? If its a C-17 I understand as those things break like a toothpick holding a 5 pound weight, if its a C-130 those things are friggen beasts so if they don't support its probably because they got recut for a higher priority mission... jumper missions I think get one of the lowest priorities unless its a dedicated jumper aircraft. I remember once redeploying and the C-17 we were going to take got recut to support the Vice President.

See, this is an example of what gets people in trouble.  You've gotten real defensive.  What you will find is that there is a lot of cross-service rivalry done in fun.  However, most of these things do have some basis in fact(let's not mention the topic on Bluefalcon's signature).

Having been in the Army before C-17's I don't know what they are like so I will leave that to our resident C-17 loadmaster, 1 each former 82nd Paratrooper(yes, Virginia he really exists).  But I can tell you for a fact that on more than one occasion I sat on runway all chuted up waiting for them to fix the C-130 we were to jump out of.  I didn't have that experience with either the C-123 or C-141, which I suspect has more to do with how few times they were available for our jumps than on their reliability.  It happens.

Don't let this type of thing get under your skin, just accept it as good natured ribbing.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

blah blah blah...

Sorry, but you all are being tooo nice...

I DO consider myself to be better...I have a pair of SILVER WINGS on my chest that prove this point...No issued black beret, not a fancy uniform with a red stripe down the side, no frequent flyer miles being used for discount golf while I am deployed...just a pair of silver wings...yeah...I am better...when you start doing what is pictured below, I will call you my equal...until that time, thanks for supporting America's greatest band of warriors...THE PARATROOPER!!!

Don't get me wrong college boy...I like all you Air Force fellas...

Whenever there is a war, you give us paratroopers a ride....

Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

I think your confused. You don't get to jump if not for people like me getting the aircraft off the ground. I have no doubt your good at what you do but I am good at what I do too. Until your able to fly up to 15000 feet by yourself to jump you are no better then me. You need me to do my job correctly before you can do yours correctly.

Jumping out of a plane does not require great human strength or a high IQ. It requires you to remember your training and do your job in accordance with the guildelines, regulations, and instructions you were taught during your training. Jumping is a controlled crash into the earth.

Therefore you owe me a debt of thanks, not a "I'm better then you cause I wear a friggen pair of wings"

Don't encourage Bluefalcon... he's already under advisement for highjacking threads with his bizarre train of thought. Besides, your using logic... which is as effective on him as sarcasm is on folks from Oklahoma (ie. totally foreign concept...)

Thanks for the tip khyros I'll remember that in the future.

Please don't get me wrong, I love all service members. Some like paratroopers risk more in a war enviroment on a daily basis then I do. They jump out of a plane racing towards the earth, all they have is a a weapon, a ruck, a radio, and thier love for thier country. I know this. We all know this. However when you have people like falcon that say they are better then others that don't do the same thing it cheapens the sacrifice made by all the others who don't have that kind of superiority complex. 1 person ruins it for all.

Thegame it doesnt cheapen anything this is how we do it here. It is espree decorp every swinging dick has it. We all know that every job has it purpose and that it is all one giant machine but damn man do not come into a paratrooper house and start spouting that we are not the best. We don't really care what a leg thinks about us and quite frankly we will pummel whoever puts us down. So check your leg attiutde and go with (thegame).

I may be out of place saying this but I'm going to say it anyway. If you would take the time to read the threads here and get a feel for the board you would have a major shift in attitude but you aren't willing to do that are you? You would rather come here spouting a bunch of drivel, whining your ass off and proving what an idiot you really are. You keep pushing the envelope. These MEN ARE BETTER and IF you don't like the paratrooper attitude than take your nancy ass to an AF site.
