| Well, thats a might interesting introduction and one I havent seen before. Since most of the stupid rules are mine Im not sure if I should be insulted by the insinuation. I guess I'll just welcome you and hope that once past my main stupid rules the other stupid rules dont preclude you from bringing intelligence and insight to the forum. PS. Your IP tracks to Columbus Ohio but its ok, since its a hub for military internet communications so I might not think much of it. OrgName: DoD Network Information Center OrgID: DNIC Address: 3990 E. | Ok let me simplify what I said cause people are reading between the lines when there is nothing to read in between. I do not have an attitude or an ego. My introduction is a pretty standard introduction when your an adult who frequents message boards populated by the jackass preteens and idiots of the world. I love the United States and I love all the Airmen, Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers who defend her and are willing to sacrifice family, limb, and life for freedom. I just like to make it clear that I am not going to take any crap from those who think they are better then me based on either service, time in service, age, gender, rank, medals, unit, or any other crap people in the military tend to cling to making them think they are an Alpha class

| As pointed out before this is a paratrooper site and we can be a pretty self centered group of chest beating individuals--ours or others, depends on the moment--Usually our biggest problem with the airforce is when their airplanes won't fly and we can't jump. However we are first and formost Americans we accept Brothers in Arms Welcome

"...my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me." He added, after a pause, looking me full in the face: "That is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave" General "Stonewall" Jackson

I am not trying to start an internet brawl but while we do respect your service, but as you said we adults and not preteens and starting out by stating that you aren't going to take crap smacks of an attitude. If you read the introductions others have made you will see it is not necessary. It's not reading between the lines it's reading the way you are saying it that we are reacting to.
Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American GI. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

| Frankly... this site frowns on preteen mutants with issues AND spelling problems. You should be fine here on PNET if you have the adult with reasonable and defenseable discussion skills. There are other sites out there that let the mutants post on thier site and let it all go unhandled (one starts with an M and ends with ilitary.com but I dont like to name names) I think you'll find that despite my stupid rules, they are based on quite a few years of beating away the morons (ok, except OUR morons) and have been tested and are a solid part of the higher quality of post found here. And NO... we're not better than you for any of those reasons.. Im better than you cause I can click this button over here and make your account go away. LOL. Just kidding...

| Well let me be an adult an apologize if I offended anyone or came off as a jerk. Being part of a mature well constructed site is foreign to me because 97.893% of the web is run completely by idiots. Its nice to see I found one of the other 2.107% of sites. To the above poster who said they get angry when they can't jump because the AF planes don't fly what aircraft are you jumping from? If its a C-17 I understand as those things break like a toothpick holding a 5 pound weight, if its a C-130 those things are friggen beasts so if they don't support its probably because they got recut for a higher priority mission... jumper missions I think get one of the lowest priorities unless its a dedicated jumper aircraft. I remember once redeploying and the C-17 we were going to take got recut to support the Vice President.
