That had to be none other than SGT Luman. We used to call him SGT Lumanetti.

Serboz,

Yes, I remember those barracks well! Those were the best 3 years of my life! I tried to post a pic of me and Terry Davis standing in front of Detachment sign after the E-6 board. If you look at my profile you should see the picture. I also have the complete manning roster from my time there if anyone is looking for a name of someone that served with the Detachment during that time.

Yes!!!  Thanks TORCH03, SGT Luman (etti) was running Team 3 when I first got there.  Remember SGT Allen and how laid back he was?  Being brand new there and a properly indoctrinated LRS private, when he entered my room for the first time all I saw was stripes and immediately went to parade rest and shouted "AT EASE!"  Hell, he jumped in the room looking over his shoulder wondering just who the f*&^ was behind him!  Anyway, thanks for the shot o memory..."sheeit, that ain't nothin, when I played football at Texas Tech..."

BlueFalcon,

Did you know these fellow 325 Blue Falcons:

SGT

SGT

SGT Keers and Walker got to the Detachment before Bill. I this Daines got there around the same time as Bill.

I for sure know Keers and Walker as they were both in my company in Vicenza.  A big "maybe" on the last name, but I am old and drank a lot in college....What about Becker?  Didn't his sluggo-ass go there too?

Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

Blue Falcon,

Yes, Becker was in the Detachment, forgot about him. Old "skip" Walker was my room mate and Keers was on my Team. We used to Party our asses off! Don't know what happend to Becker. Walker went down to Panama and I lost track of him. I heard he got into some trouble while he was in the 508th. Keers went onto SF and is a Warrent Officer in 10th Group (Unless he retired). I will post some Detachment pic's later tonight.

Torch a lot of people seemed to get in a lot of trouble with the 508th; hell when I came to my company Charlie Company 1/508th over from 5/87th in July of 88'.  My welcome from the SPC was, "WELCOME TO COCAINE COMPANY."  Yes, we were a laid back bunch in Charlie Company under Captain Kirk A. Davis or Capt. Kirk as we all knew and loved him.  It seemed that Charlie Company had led the Bn in Coke Chapters before I had gotten there, and while I was in the unit we always had a PLT sized element on extra duty each night so the Bn area always looked squared away for the visitors.

"Fury From The Sky"

I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.
