Hello, I was wondering if there are anyone out there who was assigned to the 101st PFDR unit at Ft. Campbell? I volunteered for that unit between 93 and 94 before Recruiting Command sucked me up.

Let me direct you to the New Personnel Reporting forum so that you can introduce yourself properly.  We generally don't answer questions from new members until that is done and the bio in your profile is filled out.

Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

rdahljr, I was there 91-92, just missed you.  That was when the Det. was still out in Cav Country in those shitty barracks, remember those, TORCH03?  I also was on Team 3, SSG Broome was my TL, if I remember right he arrived after I did, there was a SGT running the team when I first arrived, can't really remember his name but he always talked about, "...yeah, back when I played football for Texas Tech..." drove a Corvette.  Damn, what was his name?

You have failed to pay attention to detail, for reference look at my first post.  I am going to ask a moderator to lock this topic until you properly introduce yourself.

Hey, rdahljr, did Suarez ever tell you about when he was caught by the opfor in Panama while pretending to be one of them?  While on a patrol he and another SGT decided that they were going to do a little route recon ahead while the rest of us rested.  Well, the appointed time came and went for their return and still no sign of them, so eventually the rest of us set out and linked up with others, and by this time it was dark.  Turns out that Suarez and the other SGT came upon an opfor camp and spied a water buffalo, and apparently they were low or out of water and were thirsty.  They noticed that the opfor had their BDU tops on backwards, so they decided they would put theirs on backwards and go fill up canteens, but unfortunately they were caught, and took much shit for it.  Anyway, glad to hear he got his own team.
