Latest info on this topic:

Senior Airman Benjamin Stern, 22nd Training Squadron Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape specialist, wears the prototype uniform while he works at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. He has helped collect data on it for the Air Force Uniform Board since August. It will replace the woodland battle dress uniform most airmen wear as their home-station utility uniform. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Nathan Gallahan.)

Nice "pewter green" beret, too...

Looks like a faded set of Viet Nam era tigerstripes...

HEY-HEY-HEY, NOW!

That's a high-tech, computer-generated, intra-red-reflective, optimum-pixilated

faded set of Viet Nam era tigerstripes...

IMO, it looks better than the new ACU.

That beret is for the SERE instructors. Makes 'em feel "special".

Good.  Now the zoomies can blend in with the trees on the golf course.

You can run and you can hide, but you'll only die tired !

Is that a new course hazzard, then? Rough, sand, water, Airman. Wonder what hitting one would do to the score.
