LOL, I posted, thanks for the info 509, its always nice to get a wee bit of direction once in a while. So now that I landed in the DZ and didn't blow too far off course Im hoping to read some great posts here in the p.net.

As the other post said, sounds like Ranger, maybe even SEAL, not "Green Berets," that is, the United States Army Special Forces.

There is a big difference betwen "Special Forces" and "Special Operations Forces" but there are many American soldiers (including some high ranking officers) who don't know the difference.

Thanks CB for the welcome.

Yeah, I don't see the CSOR or JTF2 doing  what GB does, but they modeled after (especially the JTF2 ) the SAS

No matter what they do, I sure wish I was still in to give it a go, but being out for so long I doubt I could keep up.
