| Bonjour, New guy in country and foreigner too! Qualified in 1987, at the present time, I have a deep interest on Korea and VN wars through military history, treks on battlefields and collecting uniforms. I have a special interest on airborne forces involved duiring this time and I(try) to write articles on these subjects. Hope you could read and understand my english. Is there some people who were in Somalia in 93-94? I was in the "Mog" during this time?

| Okay, I gather that you are French and you qualified for something in 1987. You were in Somalia in 1993. Could you give us all al little more detail? More specifically where are you from? Which branch of the armed forces were you in? In France? What were you doing in Mogadishu? Where in the US are you? Why did you come here to the US? Stuff like that.

Welcome to the DZ, and a little more information would be appreciated. My French is all forgotten now, except one or two phrases, so I will spare the attempt at writing in French...
Abraham Lincoln (quiet, reserved and selfless): “The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here” -Gettysburg Address Obama (egotistical): “Now the world will watch and remember what we do here”
