If you coulda waited a few years, i am sure the Army would of passed out those maroon berets
to anyone who asked...you know, like they did to the Rangers...
Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

I thought they would be lime green from now on to go for that "All Inclusiveness" feeling you get in the morning when the sunshine hits your face and wakes you up and says, "I LOVE YOU 21st Century Army." "Fury From The Sky"
I'm Surprised Panama's still sea level, after all the Push Ups I did down there.

How about a rainbow colored beret so nobody feels left out?

| funny how I just post on here not too long about getting my beret, and I just find out today that I'm going to loose it. needless to say I'm bitter. there's other troops that should get the tasking I'm taking before I get it (ie. broken troops). but hey whatever pro pat on that I suppose. it really sucks, I'm very bitter about this situation. but as a troop I've got to learn to suck up and ruck up I suppose. if anyone you are wondering, I'd be having over to transport in a support coy where they don't have the beret. I am absolutely livid right now, but hey if they think that's what's best for me? whatever, they've lost a decent trooper. I'll never go back there with that chain of command in place. Greg

| now that just sucks bro It sounds like the typical way any Army works doesn't it, you get something you've worked really hard for and what do they stick you some place where you can't use your training. Stay Strong Bro, I know how it feels it happened to me too. When I was in got stuck in a leg unit first fresh out of Jump School and I bided my time for 7 months and was transferred to the Airborne battalion in our brigade so it all worked out for me; I don't know what your situation is but things might work out for you in the long run who knows? At least you'll be away from that crappy chain of command you were talking about right? that's my opinion for tonight anyways "ALL THE WAY"

| Greg, Don't give up that easy man. Walk the other way and tell the boys with the Tan beret you want to sign up. Having worked both sides (Airborne and non-airborne status) I ASSURE you that you want to be in an Airborne assignment!
