Has anyone heard/seen footage of the tests they conducted on her "survivablity" prior to her destruction this past spring?I understand most info would be classified,etc...but I never saw a clip of her final sinking.

| My Pop is a Plank Owner of CV-66. I'd never seen the Ol' Man cry until the day I showed him the copy of All Hands where they did the article on her decom. The relationship between a Sailor and his Ship is a special bond that is difficult for most men to understand unless they've experienced it themselves. The relationship between a Sailor and his Ship is a special bond that is difficult for most men to understand unless they've experienced it themselves. Mine was just broken up, part stayed at Bragg with a PIR and part when to Leg land. Oh the humanity!
