| My friend is wanting to go Air Assault. And be in the 101st, because he lives in KY. I was wondering do you put Air Assault in your contract when you join the Army? Like you put Airborne in your contract. Thanks.

| Nothing is wrong with air assault but if he oes airborne he can do both. That's the great thing about an airborne artillery unit. We do airborne missions and air raids. Best of both worlds.

| Air Assault is NOT an enlistment option. Fort campbell IS an enlistment option. He can request to be stationed at Campbell. Which I can tell you ain't happening because they are going downrange very shortly. They're locked up tight for assignments. He needs to be enlisting for the 82d, in my opion. If he's worried about being close to home, he's going to be a turd anyway. Tell him ol' hit says cut the damn chord.
AIRBORNE GODS WALKING THE EARTH....
