Well, this update is technically not from Iraq, it's from Ft Living Room!  I am on 15 days of R&R leave, so I get to relax a little.  The flying getting home is a bitch, but well worth it.

Tip to those flying home on R&R through Atlanta.  If you have a couple of hours waiting around in the airport for your follow on flight to get home, go check in with the USO and ask them about getting a shower.  I know that I stunk to high hell, so I thought it best to get one before meeting the family at the gate in Providence.

Anyhow, ask the USO about a shower and they will hook you up with an Orange form for the Wellesly Inn and Suites.  Their shuttle will pick you up and they will give you a room to get cleaned up in for about an hour or so.  There is no charge to you, however, I gave the shuttle driver $5 and the front desk $10 as tips.

It's good to be home!

Mike,

Glad your home on leave, safe & sound but don't you have better things to do with your time than hang out on here with us old crusty types?

Glad to hear you are getting some much needed R&R.

Steve, who are you calling crusty and old?

A NoTel Motel? Congrats on getting some downtime here in ConUS. Hope you enjoy your time off.

Small world.  I am at Camp Slayer.  I am going on R and R on the 24th of July.

How much beer do you think someone can drink in 14 days?  I will have the answer in over a month.

Keep your head down Bro and stay safe.
