Just as a warning... do not be quick to accept a diagnosis of Lyme disease if you can't recall having a tick on you. The symptoms are identical to Lupus... and the treatments for one are actually harmfull if it turns out to be the other. A close friend here at work was misdiagnosed with Lyme for six months and damn near suffered permanent dammage from lupus in the process while undergoing treatments that aggravated the disease...

Good... well, not to say that it's good you have lyme, but that's better than lupus and you have caught it early enough that treatments should be very effective. Warning still stands for others though...

Well I would have though that a trooper like you would have taken more precautions while out caching. Didn't your Drill Sergeant always tell you to use protection.
Don't forget you can not drink any spirits while on the drugs.
By the way get your 4th point of contact in gear and hit that 300 mark. Yes Dad is watching. I have to watch all of my caching children.

Sorry to hear about that brother. My grandmother has Lymes Disease. I feel for you. Glad to hear you caught it in time though. You will be just fine. I have faith in that. I'll be praying for you brother.

Arcticabn (6/15/2005) Well I would have though that a trooper like you would have taken more precautions while out caching. Didn't your Drill Sergeant always tell you to use protection.

By the way get your 4th point of contact in gear and hit that 300 mark. Yes Dad is watching. I have to watch all of my caching children. It was one of the spur of the moment things, running the new boat past one of the barrier islands when I remembered that there was a cache on it. Believe me, I normally am slathered with protection!!

| Ert, Troop!!!! That is some bad news. A couple of years ago I was laid up in the Horsepital with some environmental dysfunction. I was I.V.'d antibiotics for over a week. Because of my line of work in the outdoors on the water, the Med specialist just knew I had picked up some funky stuff. You take it easy. Because of our similar activities, I'm think I'll take your word to heart do my personal inspections for those little beggars a little closer this summer. Texas is literally crawling with them. Get well, Skip, out
