Can I get a show of hands of who is all coming?

I just made all my bookings and plan to be there. It will be cool if we can all make arrangements to meet up when we first arrive. I am arriving on Wednesday April 13th.

Pete, as I've mentioned before I will not be able to arrive until Saturday afternoon.  However, I am sure Jmpmastr and Delta 6 will be able to keep you busy.  I believe at least one of our resident members here who also happens to be a National Director of the 82nd will also be there.

As of now I think I am a No-Go due to having to attend a 3 week Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat course at Ft. McClellan during April. If I am off for the weekend then I probably will attend at least Fri-Sat.

Stand in the door!

Sorry guys, I can't attend.  After my post OIF vacation it is time to report back to work to my Customs and Border Protection (CBP) job in Detroit.  Have a few cold ones on me.

I would love to be there...but I'll be at NTC.

I have made my flight and hotel reservations and will be at the Airborne Awards starting Wednesday, April 13.  As in previous years, I will be making the trip to Fort Benning.

Pete will have to fill you in on most of the details, but I can tell you Saturday night went great.  Went to the banquet and listened to Don King speak.  The 509th Man of the Year went to the active duty Paratroopers from Ft. Polk who in the past year have deployed to combat and simultaneously trained units that were deploying themselves.  The 509th NCO and Trooper of the Year attended courtesy of the Association to receive the award for the Battalion.  I am sure our 82nd Association Convention goers will be happy to here that Larry Law was the Association's Man of the Year.

Hooked up with Pete afterward and hung around the PX and hospitality room.  At least one vendor saw a serious decrease in his revenues this year since Delta 6 wasn't there.  For some of you old timers who remember her, Airborne Mom(Star) was present.  Expect her back on the net in the not too distant future.  That's about the extent of my trip.
