For those of you that served in 101st the "Week of the Eagles" is now going to be an annual event. This year it is May 23-27th. Of course, for those of you that wore both the "puking buzzard" and "almost airborne" patches you will have to decide if you are going to the Week of the Eagles or All American Week. As for me, I'm heading to the bunker. Should be deep enough by now.

What's this "Almost Airborne" crap! Heck, pretty sure I was in an Airborne Unit, otherwise those were some really nasty grey outs! (That Double A patch has a few knickname variations, Alchoholics Anonymous bieng one) As to the Pukin Buzzards, well heck guess it was only a matter of time before they decided they had to copy the Real Airborne.

Not me..I am definitely going to AA week!!! Anyone else going to that? Also, Barry what do you know about the Airborne Awards? Are they going down this year? I can seem to find anything about them on the net for the current year.

Pete, the Airborne Awards Festival in Atlanta is April 13-16 at the Atlanta Marriott. In order to attend you have to register. After the registration is received they mail you a form for the hotel to get a room with the group rate. Shoot me your snail mail and I will send you the information and registration info.
