Hey, I'll be so on that. It could be my last jump before I go to Mech but let me know how much, and where I need to send the money.

I talked with Steven O'Keefe, who was one of the guys who put on the jump that Elyeh and I went to. He said that had a few concerns: 1) when they charged $125, they barely broke even, so they would have to raise that price some. 2) they were very worried that someone might damage the chute if they landed in the trees, and then they would be out bigtime since those chutes cost several thousand dollars 3) They are worried that poseurs might show up who arent airborne qualified. I addressed those issues as follows: 1) ok raise the price, I don't think even if we had to pay more per person it would be a problem for most of us. 2) Look into buying insurance to cover damages to the chutes in case someone performed a FUBAR on the chute. 3) I told him that poseurs on PNet get spotted REAL fast. And from the people who showed interest in the jump it was HIGHLY unlikely that any of them were poseurs. Also, we can bring DD-214 or 201 files for active duty members to ensure that we are the real deal. He will be calling me back when he has more information.

Tell him I'll pay 200 bucks, and if I land in a tree I'll pay for the repair of the chute....... And the last time I posed was for my Christmas picture......

To be honest, he didnt tell me they cost several thousand dollars. When I was there however, my old squad leader asked about buying his own chute and he was told it would be a few thousand (I think two). So thats why I posted the several thousand per chute. To find out for sure though, I will post a link to the company who makes the chute and we can call them for a quote: http://www.strongparachutes.com/Pages/StaticLine.html
