Well so many people responded positively to it that I thought I would put the ball in motion.

I think we should do an official PNet jump. I want to throw a date out there and see what people think. I talked to Webdaddy too and he is all for it.

So, how does the weekend of September 10th and 11th sound? We had the last West Coast gathering on that date and it sure is a good date to collect a bunch of Paratroopers together to celebrate our great nation and get in a jump as well. Also, its warm in Tampa around that time.

Once I get a few responses, I will email Steven O'Keefe of the Phantom Brigade and see if that date works for him.

Airborne?

Is this going to be a re-enactment where we have to have equipment used during our service?  Will it be static-line?

Where can I (we) get chutes, kit-bags, etc.?

What would we be jumping?

I jnow I am getting way ahead of myself and probably the program . .. but if there are good solid answers . . I'm in!!!

Alejake,

Read the info I posted here:... http://www.paratrooper.net/commo/shwmessage.aspx?ForumID=15&MessageID=158748&TopicPage=4

Pete... I started a letter to Steven..... Have you contacted him direct yet? (I dont want to have 2 people asking the same thing). So I'll nominate you as the project lead, and I'll assit you as needed.

Also everyone needs to realize that once you commit, you need to get paid up and manifested ASAP. They will be dedicating a whole block to just us and if we say 15 people or more are coming we need to make that happen or else they lose money and we look foolish.

Keep in mind if you have to travel, take in consideration airfare hotel, car rentel etc before you say yes.

Pete and I traveled from las Vegas Round trip, hotel for 2 nights and rental car ran us around $600.00 (Very good price off Hotwire)

"All OK JumpMaster"!!

GOD SAID "PARATROOPER"....

And the devil stood at attention
