I, too, am a Larson on my mom's side. She is the oldest of 10 kids, with my Grandpa an ordained deacon.

Well, my family started in Denmark as Laursen, then changed it to Larsen when they hit Ellis Island. They made it to Utah, and being the good 'mormon" that he was, my great great grandfather married two women, who were sisters. They had a ton of kids each, and one side of the sisters used the last name LarsOn, and the other, the CORRECT side used LarsEn As I understand it, names with an O are usually Norweigen, and E is Danish...all means "son of Lars". Jen, our prayers are with you, and I'm sure you'll do fine!! Drink ginger ale and eat ginger snaps, natural anti nausea ya know. Someone mentioned Darby as a name earlier....it's growing on me...sounds like a good strong Irish name and would fit for boy and girl!! Of course, with you expecting twins we need to come up with TWO names

No twins, please! I have enough on me with my husband! Thanks for the well wishes though. I am eating my crackers and diet sierra mist when I start getting that feeling. My family is compiled of the Larson, Voors, Schnelkers and Reeds. Reeds are from Ireland, Larsons are from Sweden, Voors and Schnelkers are from Germany. LARSON is the right spelling

My wife and I like Leigh too. If we have a girl next month, we're gonna name her Nora Leigh. What about Maeve? That's a form of Mary in Ireland.

Big Al, braxton Bragg would be a great tribute to the home of the Airborne, but he was a LOUSY general officer. Don't know if you'd want to hang that albatross around a kid's neck.

Dale, I hear what you're saying bro! LMAO I've always been partial to classic, old fashioned names for girls. My daughter is Tessa Lynn, another front runner was Emma Grace. My boy will probably kill me later in life with his middle name LOL
