Barry, the idea is to have the M113 for units that have the responsibility of MSR/ASR security and convoy escort in some high threat parts of Iraq. Having both the M1114s and M113A3s would be a big plus to commanders here for a variety of reasons.

Rey, my comment was based on my reading of the article as meaning that troops were to get M113s until their Humvees could be uparmored. Maybe it's just that the reporter wrote it incorrectly because he didn't know what the hell he was talking about. Nah, that could never happen.
