I'm just wondering who else from the site is going to go to Atlanta this April. I know Dale and his new wife will be there. I'm going to assume that our web daddy will be there since he's now the official webmaster for them(it's a business write off, Mark). I expect Ertman to let his coworkers know they can't call in sick that weekend because he will be there.[] So who else is coming?

Sgt.V ya gotta start saving your pennies cause this is a maximum paratrooper blow-out! Hell every year I've met troopers that I had only read or heard stories about, drank beers with Generals and celebrated the accomplishments of the Airborne brotherhood. Not only that but they actually go down to Benning and pin the wings on a new crop of young troopers...can you imagine how cool that is? Plus the 82d and 101st Commanders give a briefing on the current state of their units and missions...all in all an excellent time. Oh did I mention that all the booze is FREE! Also there is an Airborne PX with shirts, hats, bboks, coins and many other cool items.

Ertman, it is normally the second weekend in April, but I don't have this year's dates with me.

Ertman, the month is April I cannot find any dates listed at this time, keep checking the left hand margin of the page for the staticline icon and click on it for updates. By the way the 82d ALL AMERICAN Chorus performs on the Saturday night of the Awards Dinner! There are also usually some cool freebies like hats, posters, etc. available to at the registration table. Be there![thumbUp]

Speaking of the Static Line, I'm considering getting a subscription, but before I do I want to get some info on it from folks that get it. Is it a good subscription to get?

Callison,

The Static Line is a great monthly paper. Subscription is $30 a year. You can subscribe on their Web Site: www.staticlinemagazine.com or click on their link on this home page.

The Airborne Awards Festival in Atlanta will be April 14-18, 2004. To register go to the Static Line Web Site.

Be there!
