I'm shipping to Ft. Benning on Dec. 30 (they just moved my date from 2 Jan)... What about the rest of you? Anyone else shipping near then (maybe we'll practice the front leaning rest together)!

Good luck, young man. If you have absorbed knowledge from Paratrooper.net, you'll be well ahead of your peers. As for the front leaning rest; I hope that you are working on it now. It well serve you well when you get to Fort Benning.

I guess I don't have flashbacks, but I attended once before, too... June 6, 1997 was the fateful day. All I remember was the long bus ride in the dark, long waits at the airport's army station, and the soup at reception!

I'm looking forward to this time because it's Infantry basic instead of Ft. Leonard Wood. I hated having girls cry on runs...

CAMCBRI, you went in 1997 and you have to go back already? What's up with that?

not exactly sure.. i think there is a rule about repeating basic training if it's been too long. don't worry though, i look forward to it! at least this time i'll have *some* idea of what's going to happen.
