Brothers and Sisters of the Silk:
Taking off to Iraq in about two weeks. Taking a Contractor S-2 support job in Baghdad. Opportunity knocked and I answered! Maybe the last 'Mission'-type trip but I NEED to go see! Punching out to Benning on the 8th of Nov, five day train-up (Gotta go say "HI" to the Airborne area) and then over to Iraq, on the ground o/a 15 Nov 03 for a one-year contract.
No idea yet on Internet access downrange, but will get S2 & S3 briefings from the company next week. Hopefully, will try to zot you a line occasionally, just to keep you folks posted.
