I think that with the thunderbolt demonstrator, developed by United Defense designed, in 7 months a light tank will come to pass. Companies don't move that fast without a serious carrot to chase. I would be willing to bet the Marines field a light tank and then ya'll might go in too. One is sure needed.

Steve, I think that was the TRACER FSCS (Future Scout and Cavalry System) vehicle that Shitsuki killed in favor of Stryker funding. It has band tracks and hybrid electric drive too which makes it very stealthy for cav scout use.
