The Wire It's an HBO series, currently off air, while next years episodes are being filmed.

How many of you caught it while it was on? How accurate is it, as far as the politics of LE are portrayed?
As for how the crminals are portrayed, pretty accurate, imo.
I enjoy the show.

CW, and how would you know how criminals "really" are?[ ][]I haven't seen the series so I'll have to catch it when it comes back around. I do enjoy the new series 10-8 that is on Sunday nights, that is pretty good in portraying a Sheriff's Dept.

I watched every show - if I missed it, caught it on the rebound. I have no idea how realistic the BG's or Po-lice are, but it's great entertainment!Hope they keep doing episodes with strippers and callgirls....
