| This is for Airborne and Basic, but when it comes to comfort and running, what do you guys recommend wearing, boxer's, briefs or going commando? Also do they allow going commando at basic and jump school?

The whole system involves 100mph tape, securing items and spandex, after all nothing worse than road burn[ ][][][][]
Actually though the spandex seem to work best, but I have not used the newest version of the PT uniform either.

In Airborne: Wear briefs (at least!). You might actually want to wear a jock strap, but thats up to you. Your nuts WILL get squished. Good luck.

Alright, so briefs for airborne, what about for basic? Same? I have to start getting use to briefs since all I wear are boxers, and running in boxers is just asking for it to start to go into places that you would rather it not be lol
What about chaffing, what do you guys suggest to keep down on chaffing?

Amato, you will be issued briefs and/or boxers when you inprocess for basic. What you wear depends on what you get. You will determine pretty quickly what works for you. Too much time spent worrying about something you will have little or no control over.
