Let me check with my Wing Operations Officer and see what the chances are getting a bird up to Canada. Hell the Reserves have the training time.

Just one caveat. You got to have chutes with 20 foot static lines.

I'll check with my UEO and Training Officer. If we don't have them, we can get them, I'm sure.

Actually, screw that! I'll go right to the Battalion CO.

If they spent $320,000 on rentals to send 500 troops through their jumps it only comes to $640 per troop. That doesn't look like it has too much fat to cut. It may not be cheaper to go to Benning after all.

my BN Co is very interested. If ther's any way we can make this happen, he'll support us 100%.

He's a good boss. (Don't tell him I said that.)

okay, another hurdle: the CF doesn't have 20' static lines. We're going to have to try and borrow/beg some from the US (as per the standard). I'm working some angles, but it's 'iffy'.

I haven't given up.

funny. it's talking about the 03 courses. I did an 03 course.
two years later and I still don't have a god damn herc jump. I'm not impressed. the highers REFUSE to send me over to 3 RCR whenever they're doing jumps, I don't get it. maybe they're just afraid of someone getting injured and going on t-cat, or even worse *gasp* wanting to leave 1 RCR?!?
well new PC, OC, and CO, time to shoot that memo up the chain and try my luck again. maybe if mention I still don't have a herc jump this time they'll feel bad? after all the new RSM is ex airborne is I'm not mistaken.
hey cowboy if you ever get that to work, just happen to mention that Private Yeoman in Charles Coy, 1 RCR hasnt done a jump in two years, and would really like to jump screw that you're in a different regiment! I want to jump again dammit!

I am going to be in Montana on the 5-7th August doing drops. Come on down!!!!

But seriously, I will talk to my operations cats when I get to Charleston next Tuesday. I will also talk to our JAAT bookie and good buddy of mine and the operations guru.

Since we have the training time on the books, I think this can be very feasible!!!!

Are you jacked now???? I am!!!!

PM me with your requirements......weekends okay???
