I love to read articles like this. JDAM is one of the programs that Boeing lays claim to because they are the prime and the assembler of the system. The guidance package is built and assembled by Lockheed. It's one of the programs that keeps me employed. As since the last little conflict the orders just keep rolling in.
That was 80 500 pounders. However, they also do 40 1000 pounders and something like 25 2000 pounders in one load.
