I was told buy a recruitor that if I went back
into the reserves the only options was a
6 year enlistment, is this true?

Thanks,

The guard has/had a "try one" option, if you did not like it, it was only a one year enlistment.

Roger that, The guard has had my paper work for
6 months claiming they are waiting for my VA
records to come back so I can re-up. Now I'm
trying the reserve option.

Its beyond me why any unit would not jump at the chance to get a paratrooper on board...

Thanks for the advice all,

The NG recruiter called me back yesterday
after I called him 3 times he informed me
that they received my medical records in
the mail yesterday. Now he needs to send
them to MEPS and have the doctor look at
them because of my 10% disability. If the
Doc gives the ok I can go down and get
my physical. Every thing looks good now
I need to decide if I want to go back as
13F or 19D. They do not have any 11B
slots near Houston.

Have you tried 1/378th out of Conroe? There should be 11b slots out the @ss there. Shoot me an e-mail and I will try to patch you up with the UA.

I checked the NG web-site and I do not see any units
in Conroe.
