The 18x kids go through BCT, AIT and BAC at Ft. Benning. They then go to Bragg for the Special Operations Prep Course, which is specifically for 18x enlistees. If they successfully complete all of that they still have to go through SFAS. It is around then that their SF MOS is chosen for them. They then go through SFQC and at some point during that process PLDC.

I just wanted to post something to see if I could get the reply count to zero instead of a negative number.

It is just about similar.  The 18X program starts at Benning for OSUT, then Airborne School.  They attend PLDC, then there is a SFAS Prep Course that is 30 days.  Then SFAS, and then the Q Course.  E5 is pinned at some point during the course, I'm not positive when.  Also, those enlisting in the 18X program are then assessed as either 18B's or C's.  The whole program, starting from basic, takes about two years.  There are a few more criteria for enlisting as well.   Before shipping out, 18X candidates must pass the PT test.  I personally have not enlisted many 18X's from my recruiting company, but from what I have heard the program is doing well.
