| PT???? Whats that??? Wait a little sliver of remembrence is coming back from my Army days...wait! Nope. It went away. In the Air Force I have run from my office to the break room to get another cup of coffee. Does that count?? Even if I had to walk back slow (call it the cool down) so my coffee wouldn't spill.

WTF is inclement weather? We ran no matter what it was doing outside. Geeze, were you bastages going to melt?
We always said in Germany, "If it ain't rainin', we ain't trainin'. If it ain't snowin', we ain't goin'! "

| In '77-'79 I remember runs at O-Dark-30 past the civilian apartments on the other side of the tall brick wall --- a whole platoon going by singing off-color cadences in English. Civilians complained. I remember the PT test being around the North40, past the OC, and then someother goofy configuration to get one mile --- twice around was 2 miles and that was the test. Fresh out of jump school I think I shocked the 1SG during my first PT test within a month of arrival --- 11 minutes for two miles in jump boots !! Nowadays it takes me 11 minutes to walk across the street. Wish there was a "jump school" for old farts who want and need the motivation to get back in shape.

Anybody remember the NCO runs with CSM Garcia?
