| Here's a real time way to view down to a scale of 50m from above...if the link dosent work than go to Google maps and type in Vicenca, Italy, and when the map comes up select the "HYBRID" button at top right of map, than zoom on down and you'll be able to find the Caserma. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=VICENZA%2C%20ITALY&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl This link will take you to the 173rd home page and scroll down and at bottom left you will see a link "MAP of AREA" http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.173rdairborne.com/images/b-1508thjump2.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.173rdairborne.com/menuitaly.htm&h=1704&w=2272&sz=329&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=WqK4nDUioTd1KM:&tbnh=113&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dvicenza,%2Bitaly%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DX

| For all you youngsters who need to feed that nostalgia for Vicenza (like I do by going back every couple of years or so), here's a little photo tour you can scroll through. Oh and by the way...whoever asked about Burghy on the Corso Palladio...yeah, it's a McDonald's now. http://www.bed-breakfast-italy.com/downtown.htm Back in the mid 70's when we would get back from the field, there was a steak restaurant to the right of the PX that we would always hit to flush the C rats out of our systems. Big ass steak and a bottle of Mateus. Can you believe it?
