How about the SWAT team from The Blues Brothers?

Why is it communications guys have the hardest time being understood?[ ]

I think 31U has set an all time record on P-net. I clicked on his profile and saw this: "37.8 posts per day"[OO][OO][OO][OO][OO]

Dang John, and I thought you had a sham job! You're just jealous cause Uniform is smoking you on the posts![ ][B)]How did we get so far afield from the origonal topic I wonder? I will try to ease the topic gently back on track...I see the Rangers and SF being similar to the sledge hammer and the lock pick.
Either tool will get you in the door, but the hammer is loud, in your face, and impossible to ignore, while the pick is quiet, covert, and lends itself to creating mischief without discovery.[ ] Sometimes you need to bash in some country's door and charge in kicking their behind. Other times you just want to slip in and create havok while blaming it on someone else or without being discovered at all.

Doesn't that happen all the time here. What topic doesn't go off drifting. Oh well here we go again.
Jumpmaster I agree with your differences of the two. Rangers are not quiet or polite about accomplishing their mission. They are going to kick down doors, blow up stuff and leave no survivors.
Just different ways of accomplishing missions. No different than the 3rd ID and a light infantry unit. Can't always do the same things but neither one is less important than the other.
