The First thing I'll discuss are the five points of performance

Well hooahmedic, the beauty of it is that all you have to say is a prayer asking for forgiveness and acknowledging Jesus as your personal savior...that is the price of admission. The movie really causes a person to reevaluate their life and faith...it did me.
Stand in the door!

I finally had a chance to read all the comments in this thread and all I can say is AWESOME! It will be the first movie I see when I get back to the USA. Yes, I am still in Iraq.

I'm still in Bosnia, so I haven't seen it yet either. I plan on going when I'm back in the USA in two weeks. I remember hearing some specific words one time in church which really resonated within me. The Pastor said Jesus voluntarily died "in our place." To me, as a military man, that was evocative of someone voluntarily taking "my place" on a mission and getting killed on it. Does that mean something similar to any of you guys? Can anyone else see how those specific words can mean so much?

JR, that's exactly what Christ did - died in our place. The Old Testament is full of the system of sacrifices (the spilling of blood)for the covering or atonement of sins. What all of those blood sacrifices could not do, in that they had to be ceremonially offered periodically by a high priest, Christ did once for all, for all time. He bled and died in our place. 'With His blood He purchased men for God.' (A loose paraphrase out of one of the books of revelation.)
Stay safe, brother!
