Here's some pics of the jump tower out by the North 40 annex.  I took 'em from the old "CD Shack" on the side of the club "V".  The CD shack is now a Subway sandwitch place.  When you walk through the main doors of the "V", you take a left and keep heading past the latrines (on your left) and the slot machine room (also on your left) and then go through the doors and you're in Subway.  Step out of Subway, hang a right, walk though the field parallel with the track and and you're at the hotel, in between the range and the clam-shells.  The range is right over by the berm for the tower.

Too bad about being stuck in Charlie Company...looks like you could have made a great Bravo Company warrior....

You really should work out a little more...your arm looks a little skinny in that Air Force photo...

Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

Q-TIP (5/22/2006)
Me now in the AF; I'm the tall guy.  SO if you need anymore creds, I'll give you my freakin DD-214 or a copy of my old 2-1 or 201 file.  HUAH!!!

BTW:  I was not questioning your being there or not.  When I tried to read your bio your information had yet to be entered.  You are squared away now though.  I was just trying to see if you were there when I was is all...Hoo-ah?

Also, great pics!

No man, don't get me wrong on that... I did think you were vetting me or asking for creds but who cares, you're a Blue Falcon so I allready thought of you as a brother anyway.  No worries on that man.

Also, I'm glad you dug the pics; I'll try to remember to scan some more and post 'em up.  It's good stuff for all ABCT vets.

Yeah, you're right; I never really noticed that.  I think the border on mine is black for some reason but it could be green.  I know the subdued patch was different than the older ones but I can't remember what was different; I think the old ones had a black border and the new ones had O.D. green; or the stripes had black borders (like lines) on the old one but again, I can't remember.  Also there were two different flags but of course I can't remember what the differences were on those.  Anyway, on the Class "A" patch, call it "O.C." but now I'm really thinking about it and I got to know for sure.  "I know it sounds trivial but I have to go into the basement and check on my old class so I  "know for sure" what color mine is.   I do still have the old "A"s too; they're hanging up down there in the old AAFES dry-cleaners bag, ready for inspection.  For some reason though, I think they may be a little bit tighter around the waist, hmmmmm, who knew they would shrink over time?   Freakin' Government Issue textiles!!!

Same thing happened to me!  Must be the fabric was negatively impacted by the change in elevation....

When I left Italy my plt daddy wanted me to give one of the cherries my class A patch...I laughed...
