I recognize the guy in the foreground of the first picture, don't remember his name. I adctually met my FIRST wife in September's in 1989. She was dancing on a table. I bet you know how that marriage turned out.... I was in B Co from DEC '87 to APR '92. Best years of my life.

| Ray, I went to Basic and Airborne School with the guy in the blue and white stripped shirt! Vogel was his name...he wound up refusing to jump one day (couldn't feel his leg strap) and wound up in the post office as a mail clerk...
Do you listen to yourself when you talk; or do you just fade in and out?

| I had an idea that the trooper wearing the chute was "Estrella". I didn't hang with him but know the name, it fits with the picture, thoughts? I knew I wasn't the only one that the ABCT helped make arrogant! Yeah baby! Those were the best of times, only to be reminisced with those that know. What better place than here? I have found that no one knows or cares unless they'e one of us. Example: "So were you a Ranger", " No, I was Airborne Infantry"... "Oh, well anyway." Funny thing is they forget that you were not that cool, over and over again, and you have to keep reminding them that you were not one of those other titles. I find it... - strangley rewarding, like farting. Stay safe brothers. -RB

| I always tell those that ask if I was a Ranger... "Nope, I was with the guys the President would call to get the Ranger's collective high-speed. low-drag asses out of the sling...' If you look in Life magazine...say March-May of 1987 you will see that those of us hard-chargers in Vicenza were voted "Quickest unit to action" in the American armed forces...a "prototype for the future"... HOO-AHHHHH!!!!!

Damn Joel, those faces brought back some memories,,,,,,
I wouldnt trade my time in Italy for anything.
(Oh, and I kicked off on his ass in the morning before formation, lmao)
As for the clothes, hey, it was the 80's and the Italian fashions were babe magnets, somewhere around here I have a pic of me in a fedora.
