I was at Benning when this was going on full swing, and remember the 10th Mountain Division trainup/buildup.. (The)Sand Hill(ton) was pretty much theirs until they got up to strength enough for the move to Ft. Drum. That was pretty cool...

What cpnvention, What reunion?
sp4 carrasco c co. 2/325 abn inf reg Cohort IICohort I is a national Chapter within the 82nd Association. They periodically hold their reunions in conjunction with the 82nd Association Convention. Since the topic is almost two years old the mention here was about their reunion in Reno during that convention.

But ah yes...what a convention!!!! I got in a little hand to hand combat training with a disruptive Joe and the COHORT boys held up great under fire and under the influence. What say you Shammy???

I came in to basic, AIT and ABN as a COHORT and then shipped off to Vicenza arriving in Apr 90....but once we got there we were split up w/in the ABCT

I was in a COHORT unit that ended up in Alaska in 1990. Most of the legs went to Wainwright, ABN went to Ft Richardson to reform 1/501st ABN
