I signed my life away Wednesday again. I got 11X in my contract, which is what I wanted (actually I wanted 11B but we all know the X thing now) but I didnt get BAC because I came in with a health waiver even though my pulhes are all 1-1-1-1 My job counselor told me that what he was gonna do is enlist me as just 11x, followed by the training of my choice; uncommited. And that what says in my reservation contract as well. Everyone tells me that upon or during the completion of OSUT, jump school is handed out without a problem, but you have to volunteer for it. He told me to do that since he cannot give me Airborne prior enlistment. Is this is accurate or is it hard as balls to get BAC once in basic? I was gonna try to bypass all that by requesting Bragg as a location of choice(everyone thats 11x is jump in there), but one of the counselors told me that the only jump I was gonna do like that was from a one story ceiling to the ground. lol, it was funny at the moment, so thats how I ended up with training of choice uncommitted at OSUT. My ship out date is 20040429 and my start date is 20040507. I would like to sincerely thank ABN FDC and Hit it for their guidance and support on this matter during those long waiverless months. You guys are truly airborne deities walking the earth....with guns. Thank you...

I understand that you are being facetious in stating that you "signed your life away". You are doing a great thing in serving your country, a whole hell of a lot more than 95% of the people that enjoy our freedoms. I wish you the best of luck, and you better get AIRBORNE!
ALWAYS OUT FRONT
