Seeking out members of P Co. 75th Rangers that were in the QuangTri area during Nov. 70 to Jan. 71. I am trying to put together info on a night exfil during this time period. I was the Aircraft Commander on the hole bird. Remember pieces but would like additional input so that the story gets as accurate as possible. Was invited to the club in QT for a bash the next night.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Yes, although I have not been back on their site for sometime. I have had Randy White post this to the group about two years ago, with no response. I am on copy on most of their newsy stuff.
Follow-up might be in order....thanks for the prod.

If not, go here: www.75thrra.com
I agree that this is the place to search. You may have to try and go to one of the reunions to really get the info. They do it every year as a group and then they usually get together someplace else as companys. That is the best place to go to find info on Viet Nam Rangers as that is what the group serves best and was founded for.

I'd try doing a Google search for the 5th Mech Division and the 1st Brigade of that unit as that's who Co. P was assigned to. People who would remember the incident may be in the 5th Mech Div. Association if there is one. You might also want to search for 79th Infantry Detachment (LRP) as that's what P Co. was called before the switch over to 75th on 1 Feb 1969.
